Color model

The way a color is described is called the color model and the main one for computers is the RGB one.

    • RGB: Describe the color as levels of red, green and blue.
    • HSV: Hue (0-360), saturation (0-1), and value (0-1).
    • HSL: Hue , saturation, and lightness

Basic

Hue: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet.

Saturation: Intense vs. dull.

Lightness: light vs. dark.
